COMMUNITY SPECIES LIST In Progress
Every photo below was taken by a neighbor. These are the individual organisms living in West Meade.

We would like to compile a list of all of the species occuring in the West Meade area. This must be a community effort, so go outside and try to find species that aren't yet on the list. To add your species to the list, please submit the species name, photo showing identifying features, location, date and your name to: NatureNoah@gmail.com. If you are unable to take a photo, please describe the identifying features that you observed as precisely as you can. Thanks, and please be patient as we upload your file!

Remember, we want ALL species, and we're starting from scratch. Try identifying the trees in your yard then photographing the leaves or seeds. Try sitting at your birdfeeder wtih a camera. Pick up a Newcombs wildflower guide and key out some of the wildflowers in your yard. Click here for recommendations on field guides for trees or wildflowers. For more info on species, check out Wikipedia .
